A beautiful Spring wedding at The Ringling Museum in Sarasota, FL

This past April we were a part of a stunning wedding at The Ringing Museum in Sarasota, FL. We had a fabulous time working with Maria Brady of Choreographed Events who coordinated this spectacular event flawlessly.

Below are just a couple images to share of this elegant outdoor wedding. The bride chose shades of pinks, chartreuse greens and whites to complete her look. As you know, Spring offers to most beautiful flowers that we can't help but LOVE to use for our Brides - in this wedding, we used beautiful lilacs, ruffled tulips, peonies, cymbidium orchids, garden roses... the list goes on and on!

Our goal...

Our main goal and philosophy here at Botanica is to not only meet, but exceed your expectations. We want your wedding to be far more beautiful than you imagined. The most rewarding part of our jobs is seeing the finished product. We truly love it. And the icing on the cake is knowing that we have accomplished our goal.

Most recently, May 1st, we were a part of a gorgeous wedding at The Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Hotel. Today we received the most beautiful thank you letter from the Mother of the Bride and couldn't help but share:

"Dear Ian,

I would be remiss if I did not share with you the extreme pride and joy we felt when presenting the Vinoy Ballroom to our guests. It was absolutely breathtaking!

It pleased me to no end to watch you and my daughter engage in dialogue and harmoniously end up on the same page. You both communicated so well and I marvel how you anticipated "the look" she was unable to fully express at times. You are the consummate professional!

Ian, I cannot thank you enough for making our special day the most beautiful imaginable. May you bring smiles and full hearts for many years to come!"

Succulents!

Succulents are quickly becoming one of our favorite floral trends. We love the interesting and earthy feel they give when shown in centerpieces, bouquets, and even boutonnieres. They can be used individually to create a simple rustic setting, or paired with more delicate flowers to give the traditional romantic display some edge.

Presentation Inspiration

Brittany Myers, our Account Coordinator in our Orlando Studio enjoyed this past weekend in the wonderful New York City!

While enjoying the city, she found this cute quaint flower shop and she just had to stop and take a picture.

We loved the use of these ladders to present the floral bouquets. Another fun idea would be perhaps using this presentation even for escort cards at a wedding - attaching the escort card to a piece of ribbon and tying to the steps of the ladder. The possibilities are always endless. :) Enjoy.

It was a beautiful event and we were thrilled to be a part of their big day, not to mention, the resume of amazing vendors involved!

Take a sneak peek provided by the wonderful Jeffrey Stoner of Stoner Video. Also a HUGE thanks to the fabulous ladies of E-Events for including us in this spectacular day!

Hello Spring!

We love Spring here at Botanica! It's our favorite time of the year mainly because the flowers available during this season are gorgeous. Brides during this season should really take advantage of all that Mother Nature has to offer!

With that being said, we found a picture that we enjoyed with a floral variety that we love, dahlias. The birch bark containers make these dahlias look so fresh and bright and oh so spring!
