An Article Every Bride MUST Read!

At Botanica we strive to continually educate ourselves on a daily basis by reading articles, blogs, etc. - this helps inspire us and also keeps us in the loop on upcoming trends, etc.

In the middle of our searching, we came across this FABULOUS article by Lauren Grove of Every Last Detail.

It's a must read, as we love finding things that educate us, but also serve as a great point of reference for future or current brides. We encourage you to take a moment and check it out! It's an article on signs you need a wedding planner. The Tampa Bay area is FILLED with fabulous planners! Some Brides might think of planners as a 'luxury' wedding, but we say, they are a NECESSITY!

Thanks Laura for sharing and for the great advice! We couldn't have said it better ourselves!

Bouquet Trend: Love Notes

A recent trend we have noticed in bridal bouquets has been the addition of love notes, vows, scripture, or poems. At Botanica, we always love to include anything that will help make the wedding more unique and personal for the happy couple. Here are a few pictures for some inspiration. Enjoy!

Kind words.

You might remember some photos we posted a couple months back from the coral and chartreuse green May wedding of Lindsay and Adam at The Sandpearl. Well today, we received the nicest note from the now Mr. and Mrs. Rappoport and thought we would share. :)

"Dear Ian, Zoe and the entire Botanica Crew,

Our wedding was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, and I cannot thank you enough for helping to make it that way. Everything was flawless. Perfect.

The flowers were amazing - so amazing that Adam's grandmother has a dried centerpiece STILL sitting on her dining room table. Thank you for your time, energy, genius and fun throughout the entire planning process. You are the best! The best!

All our love."

Starfish, Shells, Sandollars, oh my!

It's funny, we're located in Florida and have a considerable amount of our weddings take place on the beach or in venues that are beachfront. But contrary to popular belief, it's not every day we have a 'beach inspired' wedding. This weekend for Caitlin and Christopher's wedding, they have chosen to embrace the beach and add beach elements into various parts of their wedding.

We look forward to sharing the photos following their big day, but in the meantime, I thought we would end this great week with some beachy inspiration from past events. Enjoy!
